How a green “super diesel” is reshaping the market

A Weinviertel-based company is one of the first in the SME sector to use a new variant of renewable diesel: "HVO 100" is the name of the blue-yellow "super fuel". It is completely free of fossil fuels, sulphur-free and has a 90 percent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. What diesel is made of, where it is used and where it could still be used. 

90 percent less CO2 emissions, two thirds less fine dust and soot particles: "HVO 100" is the name of the purest quality grade of diesel to date, which - not to be confused with bio-diesel - is also produced from biological waste products.
