It’s buzzing earlier than ever: bees are flying to this

Mild temperatures and warm sunshine: the first bees and butterflies fly out during the day. The food supply is still quite scarce - which is why we humans should be careful.

Many insects are already feeling spring fever in the current weather conditions. "Wood and honey bees as well as lemon butterflies or the small fox can already be observed outside," reports Christian Wieser, zoologist and deputy director of the Carinthian State Museum. The bumblebee queens are also currently on the move, looking for a suitable place to set up their colony.
