Young woman has to pay because of a doppelganger

A 21-year-old woman from Innviertel is now being asked to pay because of a coincidental name match with a third-party debtor. The courts rejected her lawyer's objections to the unjustified monetary claim. The legal decision has now also become final. 

"We were blindsided when we saw the decision of the Ried Regional Court. Our daughter is completely innocent. She has to pay for something that has nothing to do with her - just because she happens to have the same name as another person. This is incomprehensible to us - we find it extremely unfair," say the outraged parents Sandra and Bernhard S. from Raab. 
Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to appeal against the decision. The regional court in Ried/I. ruled in the second instance.
