Building land in Salzburg is difficult to mobilize, according to a new study commissioned by the Chamber of Labour. A third of the towns have concepts that are 30 years old in some cases. But there are many more problems.

Too expensive and too little - this is how living space in Salzburg can be summarized. A study by the Salzburg Institute for Spatial Planning (SIR) reveals the underlying problem, as half of the municipalities are not actively trying to acquire building land.
