To pack or not to pack? Jakob Pöltl was on pins and needles as usual in the waning hours of the last day of the transfer period in the NBA. The call could come at any time that he would be sold to another club. But in the end he stayed in Toronto - because the Los Angeles Lakers, with whom he was in talks, caused another shock.

Jakob Pöltl probably wouldn't have felt at home in the Los Angeles Lakers' kit anyway. After all, the Viennese basketball player is actually a big fan of the Boston Celtics, the Californians' traditional arch-rivals. On the other hand, the Lakers would of course have been a chance to actually fight for the NBA title.
