According to the latest drug report, Austria is "a country of high consumption" when it comes to alcohol and nicotine. And unfortunately, it is also one of the countries where many drug-related deaths occur. We have taken a look at the legal question of when our children are allowed to consume alcohol, chik, snus and the like. But the question of whether this is a good thing is a completely different one - and probably affects us all.

If you look at the figures in the latest Drug Report 2024, you start to wonder: are we already educating our children - perhaps even unconsciously - that alcohol and cigarettes are simply part of our society? In any case, children start early with their first sip or puff. Can't anyone say anything against that, do you think? Not at all!
