In a heartbreaking case, a little boy was "put away" in a baby hatch at Linz University Hospital shortly after birth. However, thanks to an unusual circumstance, the baby soon had a happy ending. In addition to such baby hatches, there is also another way of carrying a child to term but not raising it.
