The research park doubles in size for its birthday
The Lakeside Science & Technology Park is an innovation center for companies, research and education. This year, the park is celebrating its 20th birthday. With 1800 employees in 14 buildings, it is fully booked, which is why construction work for new projects is on the agenda.

Now the park is celebrating its 20th birthday. It now consists of 14 buildings, idyllically situated near Lake Wörthersee and the Natura 2000 site.
"We have 1,800 employees working at 74 companies and eight research institutes. We have 38,800 square meters for rent and are fully booked," says Managing Director Bernhard Lamprecht. There are only 400 science parks like this in the world, and kindergartens are also involved.
