Disputes in the workplace happen every day. The reason is usually differences of opinion or simply antipathy. If interpersonal communication is so conflict-laden and hostile over a longer period of time that it leads to systematic verbal and non-verbal attacks against a person, this is known as bullying. In Germany, one in nine employees is now affected at least once in the course of their working life. And the trend is rising!
