The Klagenfurt expressway (S37) is one of the most notorious stretches of road in Carinthia - serious car accidents occur there time and again, often resulting in fatalities. Safety improvements are therefore in full swing. The "Krone" took a close look at the project.

Just a few weeks ago, a 35-year-old driver lost his life on the S37. After crashing head-on into oncoming traffic, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. One of many tragic accidents for which the Klagenfurt expressway has become notorious.
