World star Taylor helps Austria’s athletics

The Austrian Athletics Federation has pulled off a truly spectacular coup. Following the departure of long-time sports director Gregor Högler, his position will be taken over in January by Austria's former hurdles ace Beate Schrott-Taylor and her husband Christian, a double Olympic triple jump champion and a true world star in athletics.

After eight very successful years as Sports Director of the Austrian Athletics Federation, Gregor Högler stepped down from this position to become Sports Director of Leistungssport Austria. He will continue as coach of discus thrower Lukas Weißhaidinger and javelin thrower Victoria Hudson, but the ÖLV was looking for a successor for his other function. And found two!
