Following the resignation of her predecessor Christoph Walser, Barbara Thaler, President of the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce, has been in office for a year and is taking stock. In an interview with the "Krone" newspaper, she announces a tougher approach. Because this is the only way to get the necessary media attention.

"Krone" : Your predecessor - for whom the presumption of innocence applies - has now been indicted on several counts by the public prosecutor's office. Is the reputation of the Chamber of Commerce suffering as a result?
Barbara Thaler: Christoph Walser made the decision to resign at the time. The transition was quick and smooth. That's why there are no links with the Chamber of Commerce and no problems.
