Municipality halts construction of second ice rink

Local residents noticed inconsistencies during the construction of the second field hockey arena in Ferlach, Carinthia. The municipality had to stop the construction work. The problem is to be solved quickly so that the arena can be opened on time.

The second ice rink in Ferlach should have opened on November 1. But the opening date is uncertain. Attentive neighbors of the field hockey arena noticed buildings that were not included in the submission plan. "We have received a letter," explains Thomas Laussegger, City Councillor for Building and Civil Engineering.
