"If he had been convicted back then, there might not have been any new victims": A dance teacher (43) was sentenced to six years in prison (not yet legally binding) at a trial in Wels (Upper Austria) on Monday. Now it has become known: He is alleged to have raped a woman back in 2013. At that time, however, the accused was acquitted in case of doubt.

The trial of an alleged rapist (48) at the regional court in Wels on Monday was stunned when a previously unknown "detail" from his past life came to light. The dance instructor, who was most recently up to mischief in Tyrol, had already been charged with rape in the district of Wels-Land in 2013 and stood trial in Wels in 2014.
