100-year-old book of legends spooks the people of Salzburg

The vices and virtues of the population - they were the focus of many Salzburg legends from before 1900. The Bachschmiede received such a treasure trove of stories from a collector. It also contains some spooky legends: of the child-eater in the Untersberg and other mystical figures.

The team at the Kulturhaus Bachschmiede has already attracted attention with toilet and women's underwear exhibitions. Currently, it is delighted to have a special book that has found its way into the historic building in Wals-Siezenheim. The beautifully bound work is called "Aus Salzburgs Sagenschatz". It is not dated, but contains a dedication from 1922.
