Despite significantly higher salaries and other measures: According to experts, the tense staffing situation in the care sector has come to stay for even longer - whether in care homes, hospitals or mobile services. But there are also rays of hope.

It was a tour de force born out of necessity: In the previous year, the state of Styria put together a 130 million euro salary package for the Kages state hospitals. The aim was to stem the ever-increasing staff shortage, particularly among nursing staff. Has this been successful?
