Nutella vegan: why we still have to wait for it
The news of vegan Nutella has been widely announced and well received. But anyone in this country who was already looking forward to plant-based Nutella will have to be patient: At the moment, the "green" chocolate breakfast classic is only available in other countries. When will it be available here? And how (un)healthy is Nutella actually? We asked for you!
The chocolate classic has been around for 60 years - now also in a vegan version. Nutella Plant-Based offers "the same unmistakable Nutella experience" as the original, "but does without milk and adds plant-based ingredients such as chickpeas and rice syrup", explains Thomas Chatenier, Global President Nutella at Ferrero. It is currently available in three countries.
