Green Gewessler met her husband on a plane
During the election campaign, the "Krone" is meeting the most important front politicians of each party in their favorite pub as part of the new series "For a drink with ...". We were at Yppenmarkt in Vienna's Ottakring district with Environment Minister Leonore Gewessler.
It was at Yppenmarkt that she celebrated her move into politics five years ago. If the Green Party member has her way, she wants to throw another party here in a few months' time to toast the renewal. That's why Gewessler chose this location for our new series "For a drink with ...".
"I hope that everyone who celebrated with me back then would celebrate with me again today." Gewessler's wish would probably only be granted by the Greens. There are still a few meter-high hurdles in the way of her goal of being sworn in as Environment Minister for another legislative period.
