In 2018, the Styrian journalist and activist Max Zirngast was arrested in Turkey on suspicion of terrorism. He was acquitted on September 11, 2019. How does the Styrian look back on this time today?

"Krone": Mr. Zirngast, Wednesday, 11 September, not only marks the sixth anniversary of your arrest in Turkey, but also the fifth anniversary of your acquittal. Do you always remember the date?
Max Zirngast: Not really. I rarely talk about my time in prison, even if many young comrades ask about it, because political work here and in Turkey takes place in completely different contexts.
