They don't look very nice: Chalk teeth. No, unfortunately this is not a new trend from social media. The whitish to yellow-brown spots on your child's teeth are caused by a disease whose origins have not yet been fully researched. The expert tells us how dangerous chalk teeth are, who it affects and what you can do about it.
White-spotted to yellowish-brown and crumbly: chalk teeth are really something. They develop very early, but can only be detected relatively late. And they don't just disappear by themselves: "The problem doesn't just go away," says Prof. Dr. Katrin Bekes from the Medical University, "nor is it currently possible to prevent the development of the disease."
