Simple methods, big impact: a pioneering method of reforestation using an ancient technique is gaining increasing recognition worldwide. The cultivation method supported by World Vision has the potential to have a lasting impact on the climate and lift millions of people out of poverty.

Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR) is a method based on ancient agricultural practices that was rediscovered by Tony Rinaudo, an agronomist. The Australian had repeatedly discovered root systems in the soil, practically an "underground forest".
