New hotel project: fear for free access to the lake

Free shore areas and lake access points are to be protected in Carinthia. However, a hotel is now planned for one of them on Lake Ossiach. Some people are therefore worried that it will no longer be available in the future.

A good two years ago, the demands of the successful referendum on lakes were incorporated into Carinthian law. "In order to protect the Carinthian lakes for the population in the future and to keep public lake properties accessible," emphasized the heads of the provincial government at the time.
