Watering plants correctly in hot temperatures

Not only many people and animals are currently suffering from the heat, but also plants that can be found in gardens, on balconies or in pots. Local gardeners reveal how to keep a green thumb despite the tropical temperatures and get flowers, herbs, lawns and the like through the summer. 

The hotter the day, the more water plants need - this is not necessarily the formula for success that applies to all plants and should therefore not be applied across the board. While some plants only need to be watered every few days, others need to be watered regularly. It is also important to pay attention to the water quality and temperature. 

However, in order not to turn plant watering into a science of its own, but rather to simplify it in general, local gardeners have a few tips and tricks in store that are easy to apply and will get our green companions through the summer.
