This is how much tipping is customary in your vacation destination

Different countries, different customs: If you don't want to put your foot in your mouth when tipping, you should know the customs in other countries.

Tipping ten percent is customary in Austria. However, holidaymakers in some countries can go wrong with this guideline. "Even though many countries also expect a tip of around five to ten percent, it is not customary to tip at all everywhere," says ÖAMTC travel expert Dagmar Redel.
