The SPÖ politician doesn't mince his words, not only about the billions in costs or the pull effect for refugees, but also about the knife ban in Vienna.

"Krone": Councillor, does the high minimum income attract refugees to Vienna? Is there a pull effect?
No, not from Syria. Does it have an effect within Austria? Of course, we have a migration movement. It has an effect, like so many things. It's attractive to live in a city with millions of inhabitants. All the immigration around the world takes place exclusively in big cities.
