One of the busiest weekends of the summer is just around the corner. The reason is the start of the vacations for millions of schoolchildren in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg and the end of the vacations in Saxony and Thuringia. The state of Tyrol is imposing bans on vehicles and trucks, Asfinag is on alert and ARBÖ is issuing a warning!

The start of the vacations in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg and the end of the vacations in Saxony and Thuringia bring a temporary peak in travel traffic, according to ARBÖ. "The travel day par excellence this weekend will once again be Saturday. There will already be delays on the classic traffic jam routes from Friday evening and on Saturday night. On Saturday, the traffic jams will probably last until late afternoon," according to a press release.
