Actress keeps nursing students on their toes in bed

Salzburg nursing students practise professional scenes in hospital with an actress. In 45 minutes, they learn as much as they usually do in eight lessons a day - and there is an important reason for this type of training.

Nervous tension prevails in the corridor and in a patient room in the former orthopaedics department. The ward in the Salzburg provincial hospitals has been converted for training purposes. On a Wednesday in July, nursing assistant students simulate possible scenes from everyday working life here - with an actress, video recording and debriefing.
