Overcrowded trains, greedy taxi drivers and mountains of garbage: Dortmund capitulated to the onslaught of tens of thousands of fans after the end of the match. The police's assessment after the semi-final between Holland and England in the European Championships, however, was not too bad.

What happens in a city with 600,000 inhabitants when an additional 130,000 soccer fans descend on it within a few hours was experienced in Dortmund on Wednesday night after the final whistle of the semi-final - pure chaos!
