World UFO Day: He hunts aliens for NASA

Today is World UFO Day, and many people are asking themselves: Are we alone in the universe? Is Earth the only planet on which life exists? If there is anyone who can answer these questions seriously, it is Adam Frank. The US astrophysicist is NASA's leading expert on extraterrestrial life. Krone+ spoke to him. 

"The human species is about to embark on its greatest and most important journey," says the 61-year-old, whose non-fiction book "Life in Space" was published in March, in an interview with Krone+. Over the past three decades, the scientific search for life in the universe has exploded: "We have discovered planets all over the galaxy and found out how and where we can look for signs of extraterrestrial life in the atmosphere of these new worlds."
