At the end of the school year, many parents don't let themselves get carried away: teachers are showered with gifts, even though they are not actually allowed to accept them. The "Krone" knows why, what is allowed and what applies in the private sector in this regard.

The summer vacations are just around the corner, and many parents are familiar with this: just before the transfer to another school, money is collected for the class teacher, which is then converted into gift baskets, vouchers or handicrafts and presented by the parents' representatives on the last day of school.
