Tall women have to struggle with these problems

Three percent of women in Austria are taller than 1.78 meters. The "Krone" spoke to two tall Upper Austrian women about curious looks, problems when buying pants, funny mix-ups and what it's like to be 1.90 meters tall at just 14 years old.

"Why do I have to be so tall?" Lara Mendl (21), who is 1.86 meters tall, has not asked herself this question for a long time. The 14-year-old Emeli Pocrnja has also got used to the fact that her 1.90 meters attract curious glances and comments such as "How's the air up there, Eiffel Tower".
