For some pet owners, the death of their pet can be particularly distressing - especially if the faithful animal companion does not reach old age. A Carinthian woman mourns the agonizing death of her tomcat. The cause was to be determined in court in an unusual procedure.

"My beloved cat only lived to be 18 months old," says a woman from Klagenfurt mourning the loss of her four-pawed companion. However, "Camillo's" early demise was not fated, but was more or less family-related. And that led to a lawsuit before a Carinthian district court.
