AKH solution for Böhler hospital only lasted one month

When the Böhler Hospital was closed, it was announced that the staff would continue to work at the AKH. But this idea is history. Horrendous costs lead to a new emergency solution for the first emergency solution.

The replacement intensive care unit for the closed Lorenz Böhler Hospital only started full operation at the AKH in mid-May. But as soon as the last pieces of equipment have been set up, they have to be dismantled again: The AUVA Board of Directors has "decided not to extend the cooperation beyond June 30," according to an internal letter.
