Dr. Peter Jost worked at Klagenfurt City Hall for 40 years before he was kicked out for the second time as municipal director and top civil servant in December. Again unjustly, as he claims - and causes city politics to tremble with lawsuits. Because everyone is asking themselves: what does the 65-year-old, who knows a lot about many things, want?

"Krone": Mr. Jost, you are 65 - others are looking forward to retirement. But you don't want to leave.
Peter Jost: No, because I'm fit and want to work. And I have a valid employment contract with the city of Klagenfurt, signed by the mayor. So in that respect, I am still a municipal director.
