Trend towards mini PV systems instead of rooftop power plants

The fall in the price of solar power was to be expected by experts. Nevertheless, they continue to recommend "home-made electricity" - but the PV system should be the right size. The "Krone" asked whether private individuals will soon have to pay if there is too much energy on the electricity markets.

"Expecting prices of more than 50 cents per kilowatt hour in the long term was always unrealistic. And it wasn't right either," says Wolfgang Dell from the Upper Austrian Energy Saving Association, who is not unhappy that the "gold-rush mood" for PV electricity is over.
