In search of the skilled workers that the domestic economy so urgently needs, the "headhunters" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Austrian Business Agency (ABA) scour the entire world. The most important focus countries are Albania, Brazil, Indonesia, Kosovo and the Philippines.

All of these countries have three things in common: a good level of education, a young population and an education system comparable to that of Austria. Eva Landrichtinger, Secretary General of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, explains to the "Krone" newspaper why it can make sense to bring people from far away to Austria, using the example of the Philippines.
