An attack on a turtle almost proved fatal for a catfish in Lake Plesching. The large predatory fish was rescued and is once again swimming unrecognized in the "depths" of the lake. The "Krone" investigated what other "monsters" there are in our waters. And found out that a bite has already been really expensive for a lake owner.

The realm of the fish begins below the surface of the water, and there are some "monsters" out and about. Anglers and divers - some with hooks, others with cameras - like to hunt them down, but large predatory fish biting bathers is rarer than winning the lottery.
