A 63-year-old woman has her attentive neighbors to thank for the fact that she is still alive. She was discovered half-dead in her completely rubbish-strewn house. A near tragedy that had been looming for months - and yet could not be prevented ...

It was probably the proverbial last second when the woman was found by a neighbor and her brother. She was lying unresponsive on the floor of her house in Deutsch-Wagram in the district of Gänserndorf and subsequently had to spend several days in intensive care. It was a dramatic situation, but one that the residents had feared for some time.
