Fascination with IS: Why do young people become radicalized?

More and more often, the answer to the question posed to terror defendants is: "Where did you become radicalized?" - "On the internet." The "Krone" asked lawyer Sascha Flatz what fascinates young people in particular about the Islamic State and what Austria is doing to prevent the spread of this mindset.

Islamic State has been banned as a terrorist organization in Austria since 2014 - sections 278b and 278c of the Austrian Criminal Code are dedicated to it.
