Focus on sports halls: “We have a problem!”

Styrian sports clubs are facing problems in many places: Old halls, overcrowded halls and no alternative facilities make the work of dedicated volunteers difficult. The federal sports organization is now rushing to the aid of the clubs and is demanding one billion euros from politicians.

For handball-enthusiastic children in Leoben, it was recently a case of "Please wait!" in front of full sports halls. The volleyball players from Weiz have been playing their "home games" in Graz for years, while the volleyball players from Radkersburg are even considering leaving the country for their matches and moving to a Slovenian hall.
