ÖBB is urgently looking for staff; there is currently a shortage of 216 train drivers in the eastern region alone. The first career day at the St. Pölten education campus aims to counteract the shortage. The "Krone" was there.

"It's a varied and future-proof job, no two days are the same, you see fantastic landscapes. And it makes me proud when I see lots of people getting off the train at the terminus." When Thomas Latron talks about his work, you can feel his passion for it in every fiber of his being.
