Manuela had a motorcycle accident on her honeymoon - through no fault of her own. Emergency operations and a coma followed, and she can barely feel her right leg. She then underwent several periods of rehabilitation and many hours of occupational therapy. Now a modern orthosis is helping her out of her wheelchair again.

It should have been a wonderful, carefree honeymoon through Germany - and ended in tragedy: Manuela S. and her newlywed husband were traveling on their motorcycles in the summer of 2021. After just a few days, she had a serious accident. This brief moment changed her life in an instant.
