Election campaign in Innsbruck
“Forbidden posters” pile up in the building yard
The flood of signs before the election in Innsbruck knows no bounds - or does it? According to federal law, there are clear rules, but not all parties adhere to them - as the videos (see above) show. The "Krone" took a close look at various places in Tyrol's provincial capital. The result: a number of posters have been put up where they shouldn't be!
Politicians and their campaign helpers in particular are currently making a beeline for the building yards in Innsbruck. The reason: they are picking up their election posters, which the authorities have had removed because they were placed in a way that obstructed traffic and did not comply with the rules. In this case, the rules are a federal law that regulates the erection of posters and is actually intended to prevent exactly what is currently common in Innsbruck: pure uncontrolled growth.
