Ukrainian women in Fürstenfeld: “War must end”

War has been raging in Ukraine for two years. For two years, refugees in Styria have been fearing for their country, their families and friends. A life between hope, everyday life and longing - the "Krone" visited two women in Fürstenfeld.

Oksana Zholobetska puts tulips together to make a bouquet. The scent in the Langer nursery in Fürstenfeld is beguiling, especially now in the approaching spring, when all the colors seem even more colorful and bright. Zholobetska laughs. "It's nice work and a good atmosphere," she says. The Ukrainian from Kiev, who studied agricultural sciences and economics, has been working here since May 2021.
