Is Austria too big for small parties? Politicians and the media have been talking for months about the electoral chances of the ÖVP, SPÖ, FPÖ, Greens and NEOS. But the Beer Party, KPÖ, OK & Co. are also hoping to be represented in the next National Council.

1. parties must submit their lists of candidates by 5 p.m. at the latest on the 58th day before the election. Assuming that the National Council elections are scheduled for the end of September, that would be the beginning of August. So nobody knows the final ballot paper yet. However, outsiders have a good chance because many voters are often annoyed by all the established parties.
