A regional election will be held in Styria in November. This is just as interesting as the National Council election - or even more exciting. From electoral law to the formation of government: Peter Filzmaier analyzes.

Anything is possible in a Styrian state election! In 2015, ORF broadcast an initial projection immediately after the polling stations closed, which came very close to the final result. The special thing about it was that the three major parties were exactly tied with 28% of the vote each. At the end of the day, Franz Voves and his SPÖ were ahead for the last time. The ÖVP and FPÖ were only very close behind.
