ÖVP mayor takes refuge in new election after investigations

A self-corrected invoice has landed Vösendorf's ÖVP mayor Hannes Koza in trouble. Now that the public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into the matter, the head of the village is taking flight and calling for new elections. The "Krone" knows the scenarios of how things could now proceed, both politically and legally. 

Coincidence or not: just as the serious allegations against ÖVP mayor Hannes Koza in Vösendorf, district of Mödling in Lower Austria, became known, he had a job advertisement for a new personal assistant published in the "Krone". According to the advertisement, "reliability and loyalty" were just as important as "accuracy".

In any case, the advertisement is an indication that Koza wants to remain in office regardless of the investigations into breach of trust and falsification of documents by the Wiener Neustadt public prosecutor's office.
