The Graz ice hockey cracks are licking their wounds after their elimination in Linz. 99ers president Herbert Jerich has not lost an ounce of motivation despite the disappointment. He spoke to the "Krone" about the elimination, his plans for the new season and with whom talks will now follow.
"Now I've had a good night's sleep. Of course, the disappointment still runs deep," said President Herbert Jerich on Monday after the quarter-final exit of his Graz ice hockey cracks in Linz. "We failed to overturn a 3:1 lead in the series. We should have ended it in the home game. We lacked something that money can't buy: Experience in the team. But you learn from your mistakes."
