The Linz bicycle rental system, financed by advertising - a seemingly smart mobility solution. But a closer look at the awarding of the contract and the operating company raises questions. Why was the concession contract agreed before the company even existed? And what role does the SPÖ play in this? 

"The city bike rental system is a sensible mobility solution for Linz. Our question is not about questioning the rental system, but about understanding how the contract was awarded," emphasizes NEOS municipal councillor Stefan Burgstaller. He took a closer look at the project, which was once launched to improve urban mobility, and discovered a number of inconsistencies.
