The "Kärntner Krone" presents the Carinthian champions in the ice hockey lower league in a series. Köttern were crowned champions of the Unterliga Mitte in their 40th year at the green table. Because Arnoldstein did not play in the second game of the final series. .

The final in the Unterliga Mitte was a real curiosity. The ice hockey cracks from Arnoldstein did not play in the second match of the "best of three" series because they did not agree to the date. The game was scored 5:0 in Köttern's favor. And because they had already won the first match 3:2, they were crowned champions at the green table in their 40th year of existence.
